Top Designer Tortoise Shell Sunglasses Frames

Tortoise shell sunglasses frames come in different shades ranging from light conspicuous ones to dark ones with dark shades of brown. It is easy to pull a look with tortoise eyeglasses frames if you choose the right design for your face. Tortoise colored eye wear actually has no gender; the only thing can could change the gender is the design. What’s more, there are many interesting patterns that can be applied to make the tortoise shell frame more attractive. For instance playing around brown and yellow or adding some lustre to the brighter parts of the frame to make it more outstanding. Take a look at the designer tortoise shell shades below:

Cazal 163 Sunglasses

Cazal 163 Sunglasses have a vintage inspired design that suites the tortoise shell color on the rims. Also the brown gradient lenses look like they were just meant for the frame. I love the temple style; the temples become thin past the ear while the front side of the side arm is thick. This is probably why they have such a comfort fit.

Old Focals, Best Place To Buy Vintage Eyewear From Hollywood

Did you see your favorite movie actor or character wear a particular type of sunglasses and wished to own one? The best place to buy hollywood glasses is Old Focals, a vintage eyewear store in Pasadena California that over the last 2 1/2 decades has supplied glasses for movies, television and commercial productions.

This hollywood glasses store is run by Russ Campbell. His glasses have been worn in high-profile films “J. Edgar,” “Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy,” “The Rum Diary,” “Cowboys & Aliens,” “A Single Man,” “Catch Me if You Can” and “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” as well as such TV shows as “Mad Men.”

Upcoming films with glasses provided by Campbell include Whitney Houston’s “Sparkle” and “Men in Black 3.”

Although Campbell’s warehouse stock includes both refurbished and never-before-worn glasses, the pairs sold in his Old Focals shop are all unworn “deadstock” that was never sold by retailers. Most range from $79 to $200.

Many customers walk through the door and say they’re searching for a pair of glasses they saw being worn by an actor in character.

“people often buy our glasses as a collectible object – not just as a thing necessarily to wear. They have this thing now that represents the love that they had of this character, this actor, this film or of this period.

Campbell is able to share his insights and passion for eyewear with many customers.
